The Fourth World – One aspect of my Novel

Trickster – is at one and the same time the destroyer and creator, giver  and negator, he who dupes others and who is always duped himself….He knows neither good nor evil, yet he is responsible for both. He possesses no values, moral or social…yet through his actions all values come into being.

– Definition of the Trickster was borrowed from the great Sphere of Knowledge called the internet

Batman and Peanuts – A Poem

WinterGifE

The day’s heavy snows shroud dark thoughts

as the mind meanders to distant

threats known and unknown

and half believed.

Capture the whimsy

and embrace the chaotic

flakes which fall

always with their ordered crystalline structure

intact upon your

tongue.

Let out the disquiet inside with

a heavy sigh

expelled

as frosted air.

Sit in whispered contemplation

of a life less frantic

as you gently embrace

the day.

See Her – A Poem

Brightshadow

See Her –

She sits in silent reflection

staring out a window she can’t see through,

wondering at the days of

misfortune the world has heaped upon her.

“I am pretty aren’t I”, she asks

Her hips have just the right amount of flare,

Her breasts are well rounded,

her eyes are deep and mysterious as the night

is long.

She can turn a phrase and engage in interesting conversation

just as well as the  next.

So why, why, why…

Does “that guy”  not see her.

Find interest,

or get her.

Perhaps she dwells too much in the shadows

they cast and not in her own

light.

Quote of the Day

“I’ll be the boat at night sitting off shore and you can be the lighthouse…unless its’ your turn to take the boat out tonight.”

My Heart and the Alien – A Poem

fourchambers

My Heart and the Alien –

I have a four chambered heart much like most everyone else,

I am a nerd in one heart,

a romantic in the next,

a perv in the third,

a  dreamer in the last.

I am fading into your moody blue alien eyes.

as the cold night embraces an already

cold day.

All the chambers of my heart smile

back at you.

And beat with an unnatural warmth not

found on this earth.

You don’t belong here on this world,

and you are soon to leave.

Forever.

For that reason alone, I wish the

the sections of my heart would quiet itself

Each beat in quarter time to a tune

I do not recognize anymore since your

presence came to town.

Please leave soon on the next

spaceship out.

My heart is at war

and may soon burn it

self up.

Take to the stars, and then

and only then, can

my heart look to

them without doubt.
