Why don’t we

Why don’t we buy a house
and call it our home
Live in it til
we’re gray and old
and the toothless dog
can’t chew his bone.

Why don’t we just let go,
pour it all out,
the fears, worries, and woe
Flush the toilet
and watch the shit
spin away forever gone.
And if backs ups
we plunger that bitch
until it drains
away.

Why don’t we
stoke the fire,
pour a drink at the bar
pet the cat as it
curls up close.
and yes that was a
euphemism for sex
meaning, let’s get it on.

Why don’t we
trust in us.
In that wonderful thing called love,
know it’s forever
bought and sold
no returns
rip up the receipt,
the stores closed,
out of business,
torn down.

You are mine and I am
yours.
No take backs.
Sold.

My Red dreams

Danae by Gustav Klimt

She
sleeps,
My Red.
Slumbering
deep
alongside,
I feel her dreams
seep,
into me,
fitful and fractious or
calm and light.
Through them all
she holds.
Not a thousand times a thousand
treasures or other delights
could draw me away this night.
For she has been long sought
this red curled angel
of fairness
This soft, sweet beckoning
beauty
in endearing repose
A creature not easily known
but by a few men
bold enough to unlock the magic
of her soul.
I count myself a fool
to hold such a fortune
as this in my arms
And will continue
to play the fool
for her all my days
to come.

All of It – A Poem

Hands

All of It ~

She’s everything,
cute, luscious,devine
wickedly mischievous
a show off, and needy,
funny yet pinch your nipples
serious at times
A passionate soul,
with a demanding nature to be
nurtured and loved and
hugged.
Eyes which twinkle yet bore
into yours, wanting
and wanting
more
and more and more
Damn she’s a chore.
But oh boy, when she asks for
more.
You know what I mean
You smile, because you want to
give it.
With her, your in it.
Deep….balls and all.
To the wall…to the floor…
in her arms and she in yours
and is there any
better place to be?
