The Goblin King Sleeps~
In an oubliette deep
does a dank dungeon keep
the Goblin King.
at a loss to life he sought
and thought would crawl on forever
in a true vanity of his own design.
Yet, a silver lining
does shine on the pitted walls
which confine this man.
For he made a difference while out
in the world of light.
He ravaged, and wrought, bringing knees
to bend to touch the ground
and they fought, found courage,
bringing a change to the world each
in their way, good or bad
in the eyes of men
he brought a change,
and a reckoning was finally
Now, he can finally sleep

Ride Ride that wave that cascades down your soul and over that mind in quarter time…flow flow…and juxtapose that tapping of those feet with that beat in the bass…let me see that smile shine as your teeth flash in a wicked grin …let the sweat pour down as you thump and bump…dance dance and ride ride that wave that rolls ….as you never ever have reason to complain when the music comes to stay stay stay….now play boy play!

This year I opted for the ability to play Video on my blog…soooooooooo I had to have my first video ever to the Music Video by the band Cage the Elephant for the song “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked“…:)
So if you have heard the song…listen…I hope you enjoy it. It sort of inspired the name of my blog.
I like big books and I can not lie
You other scholars can’t deny
That when a librarian walks in with an itty bitty waist
and slaps a big paged volume down in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull out your specs
‘Cause you notice that book looks stuffed
Deep in the pages the words be blaring.
I’m hooked and I can’t stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get with you
in my lap to read the big picture
My schoolboys tried to warn me
But that big book makes me so ornery
When I rub its Rump-o’-smooth-skin
spine and I’m not allowed to read it.
Well, use me, use me
‘Cause you ain’t that average mystery
On the shelves, I’ve seen those other books dancin’
To hell with romances
I ‘m tired of magazines
Conveying to me flat books are the thing,
Take the average smart man and ask him that
The book gotta pack much back
So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your girlfriend got your big book? (Hell yeah!)
Tell ’em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy book!
And baby, baby, give me my big book back!
