Philip Wardlow is a burgeoning ever growing writer and poet delving into all the various aspects of the human condition. His writing tastes run to the Erotic most recently. In the recent past he has written to the Dark Urban Fantasy & Horror Genre which he still loves as well. He likes to dabble in all the various forms of poetry; from the sexy to the humorous, to the profound and beautifully sentimental and reflective. He has only been at this chosen path for a few of years and has produced one Novella published as an Ebook on Amazon called “Roadkill”. He has submitted and continues to submit various stories and poetry works to publications for consideration. Philip is working on a collection of Erotic Poetry due out in 2021 in ebook form and perhaps in paperback. He is also concurrently working hard on his other passion; photography. Philip believes he can have each foot planted in two distinctly different worlds of creativity there by inciting new ideas and growth at the same time in both.

In your pants

pants

Romance exists,

just as much as bullshit exists,

to get into those tight pants you’re  wearing,

but I want to stay and help with the laundry

and fold those pants with you later.

Shackles

Do you feel them?

The shackles.

They chafe and bruise.

Pull against, and they pull back.

Invisible.

Tangible yet they be.

For they have a weight,

a bite…

a substance,

of the foulest metal known to man.

Strong….

welded upon your wrists

For there is no key.

Yet you walked into

them willingly

Inserted hands,

clasps closed.

Acetylene torch bright

heat burning

Skin blistering.

Hands plunged

into cold water

to quench and

strengthen the binding.

Shackles fade from sight

scars heal,

All to the naked eye.

Blue light special

It’s okay to try and sell yourself

while sitting in the middle of the bar…

DarkMatter

The universe is composed of matter everywhere,

visible and invisible interacting on levels we don’t comprehend just yet

…so you do matter.

Shake it

I wanted fries with that shake baby,

(she pulls out an order of medium fries from her cleavage)

(I take them)

Thanks, you may continue shaking.

How’s your Dumpty in your Humpty?

Humpty dumpty falling of the wall

Cracks…..cracks…they run through us…veins of traveling fissures

leaking god knows what.

How long ago was your fall ? Mr. or Miss.

And do you know what you miss?

That once held you together.

Can you find that moment in time…where your mind

teetered,

then tottered.

Arms flailing….you plummeted

that hole in the pit of you widening.

and then something just died.

inside.

They call me Humpty that rhymes with my last name

Dumpty.

The king horses scotch taped me up and superglued my butt

I’m walking …I’m talking…Breathing through

a cracked gut.

But I’m breathing..

Not a yolk sizzling in the sun.

Bubble People

Bubble

They bump along in their bubbles…

with all their different colors

at times comingling…a bright red meeting,

a dull blue or electric  yellow sliding along a prim’s

purple slick skinned surface

grazing against, just ever so.

Electric,  crazy, frenzied, varied, morphic, erotic

Dare I say fun? Yet…the bubbles eventually move on

Some in sadness…some not giving a shit….beep bopping

away in a rush.

Or they simply just

POP!
